Privacy policy

Last updated: 22 October 2026

This policy explains what Forebrite (, “we”, “us”) collects when you use forebrite.com, ask us a question or book a call, why, who handles it for us, and what you can ask us to do. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

1. What we collect

  • When you book a discovery call: your first and last name, email address, role, company, company website, and the day and time you chose.
  • When you send an enquiry or book other services: the details you type into the form, for example your name, email, what you need help with and your business website.
  • When you pay for something: your name and email. Card details go straight to Stripe and never reach us.
  • When you visit the site: technical and usage information such as your browser, device, approximate location, pages viewed and how you arrived, collected with cookies by Google Analytics.

We do not ask for, and you should not send us, sensitive information such as health details or government identifiers.

2. Why we collect it and how we use it

  • To arrange and hold your discovery call, put it on our calendar and send you a confirmation and the video call details.
  • To reply to your enquiry and to provide a service you asked for.
  • To keep the site secure and stop automated abuse.
  • To understand which pages are useful and improve the site.
  • To keep the records the law requires, such as for tax.

We use your details only for these purposes. We do not sell them, and we do not add you to a mailing list because you booked a call or sent an enquiry.

3. Who handles your information for us

We use these providers to run the site. They handle your information only to provide their service to us.

  • Amazon Web Services: hosts the site and the booking system and stores booking records, in the Sydney region. It also sends booking confirmation emails.
  • Google: Google Calendar, where your call is added to our calendars, and Google Analytics, which measures site use.
  • Resend: sends our replies to enquiries.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile: a short check on our forms that tells people from bots. Cloudflare receives technical information such as your IP address for that purpose.
  • Stripe: takes card payment for paid services.

Some of these providers store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States. By using the forms you accept that, and we take reasonable steps to make sure each provider handles your information securely.

We may also disclose your information if the law requires it, or to our professional advisers, or to a buyer if the business is sold, on the same terms as this policy.

4. Cookies and analytics

Google Analytics sets cookies that tell us how many people visit and which pages they view. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use Google’s opt-out add-on. The site works without them.

5. How long we keep it

We keep booking and enquiry records only as long as we need them for the purposes above. Records of paid services are kept for as long as tax and consumer law require. Calendar entries for past calls stay on our calendars until we remove them.

6. Security

We use reputable providers, encrypted connections and limited access. No method of storing or sending information is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee it, and we will tell you and the regulator if a breach is likely to cause you serious harm.

7. Your choices and rights

  • Access and correction: ask what we hold about you and have anything wrong fixed.
  • Deletion: ask us to delete your information, unless we need to keep it by law.
  • Change or cancel a call: reply to your confirmation email.
  • Complaints: tell us first and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

To make a request, reply to any email we have sent you, or use the Book call form on this site.

8. Children

The site and our services are for businesses and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

9. Links to other sites

The site may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The new version applies from the date at the top of this page, and we will note the date when it changes.
